Nawa Dharma Raksa Foundation is an independent non-profit foundation based in Bali Island , Indonesia Republics. Established in October 2022, the foundation works to empower Hindu people in Indonesia. It focuses on improving knowledge, attitude, rituals for those who are beliefs in Hindu religion. The establishment of Nawa Dharma Raksa (NDR) Foundation initiated by 9 (nine) students of Third Diploma (D-III) of Hindu Priest (Kepanditaan) Universitas Hindu Negeri (UHN) I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar-Bali. The Foundation’s name proposed by Professor I Made Surada, He is a professor in Sanskrit Language and Hindu religion. Nawa means nine, Dharma refers to Hindu Theology and Raksa means to preserve the Hindu teachings and its philosophy.
